My second job was at a fast food place and i would always read the nutrition guide they put on trays. WOW the amount of calories and fat and everything else. I look forward to giving up the fast food, maybe that might help take off pounds. posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.27.07 (10:34 pm) Reply to: lostin2007 it becomes difficult to control for those who work at fast foods. Everytime you end up having a cheesy meal. its easy to take those 500 - 1000 calories but how difficult it is to reduce them. Keep the job in hand till you get another coz you already quit one. How are your feet and i hope you are enjoying the break ??? posted by: lostin2007 (reply) post date: 01.27.07 (10:40 pm) Oh the one i quit was at a fast food place, so i can give up the fast food meals. I still have my regular job, which is at a pharmacy. My feet still hurt a little but they are getting better. I am really enjoying the break. :) posted by: lostin2007 (reply) post date: 01.27.07 (10:41 pm) We'll see how much they hurt when i go back to the pharmacy and work my 40 hours there this week. posted by: religion4life (reply) post date: 01.27.07 (11:07 pm) I'd like to know how much money they spent proving something all of us "pleasantly plump" ladies have known for years. And I wonder who got to pocket that cash! posted by: swanktrendz (reply) post date: 01.27.07 (11:32 pm) On task, but sort of not... I haven't eaten fast food in over a year. My son's girlfriend offered me a double cheeseburger from Ronnie-d's ;) and I ate it as I was very hungry.Without going into lurid detail, my body rebelled violently against this unknown infiltration. I was a very sick puppy for 1.5 hours, and now, thankfully, I am back to normal. So now I am wondering - what on earth is in that stuff for my body to react so violently, or was this just a per chance case of food poisoning? All I remember is the grease... posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.28.07 (2:01 am) Reply to: lostin2007 did you soak your feet in luke warm water ? (for half an hour or plus, if water gets cold get some more warm water) you can also add a spoonful of salt in it, it does help. posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.28.07 (2:05 am) Reply to: religion4life well the research is on, first they invent and make money, then they reject the previous invention and make a new one to make money :) Any big 'fast food' may pay a lot to stop such klind of research :) posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.28.07 (2:09 am) Reply to: swanktrendz one thing is for sure, i have never found any healthy stuff in it. I dont realy like to take this junk food at all and i dont even recommend it to my kids who are now in the process of growing fondness of such food. I try to lead them to a Chinese restaurant instead :) posted by: lostin2007 (reply) post date: 01.28.07 (12:27 pm) Reply to: 69whisper I haven't tried the salt thing yet but i will try it. A friend of mine let me borrow her foot spa. I call it a hot tub for feet.lol It makes the water bubble and keeps it kind of warm. So i've been alternating between that and soaking my feet in the bath tub. My feet feel so much better right now but i've also had 3 days off in a row. posted by: sudeshpoojari (reply) post date: 01.28.07 (8:46 pm) It is basically not just eatinmg junk food it is also lack of workout, i mean not heavy gym normal how many of us now even walk for long or even do our chires and much like such miner things do effect our lifestyle posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.07 (12:29 pm) I feel gross when I eat fast food now. I just try to stay away from it! posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.30.07 (1:59 am) Reply to: sudeshpoojari yeah SP, most of us have a 'sitting' job, and we dont care about walking or 'going for a walk' much. That is important. posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.30.07 (2:00 am) Reply to: rosietulips great! i dont like it either. |
