Maybe it is a lesson we should all take from them, as we can express an awful lot through our eyes and our gestures. It can be so easy to tell someone that you love them and make it sound good, but if the emotion in your face is not there, the the true meaning is not in you. Some learn to speak by feeling the vibration of the muscles in the throat or face. Most people who have this disability find the word "dumb" extremely offensive. Sometimes it becomes difficult to make the 'abled' persons to understand about the special persons and I experienced the ease with which they make each other understand their feelings better than us who can speak and speak well. |
