De-Stress

Stress has become a way of life for most of us. Stress leads to fatigue, low self-esteem and distress - factors which can adversely affect our performance at the work place. Here are some ways to de-stress after work :-
  1. Exercise.  Flex those muscles; go for a jog or a quick walk. Even 20 to 30 minutes a day (early morning or late evening) will add value to your day.
  2. Spend Time with Friends.  Break the monotony of the week by doing something out of the ordinary. Meeting with friends or loved ones is sure to lift up your spirits and make you feel good.
  3. Pursue a Hobby.   Catch up on something that you always wanted to do. Horse riding, golf, chess, or any other sport or hobby.
  4. Volunteer for a Cause.   Contributing to someone else's life gives fulfilment, satisfaction and a feeling of achievement. Educate individuals; volunteer at a hospice or promote a cause.
  5. Learn a New Language.   New things add zest and fervour, especially when they are adding value to your credentials.
  6. Spend Time at the Library.  Read for pleasure and knowledge. this will clear your mind and relax your brain.
  7. Mall Crawl.  Seeing new things in the marketplace or shopping, even if it is just a card can lighten your step.
  8. Drive.  Drive slowly and don't rush through traffic to reach home early. If time allows, go for a slow, long drive to clear your head and sort out your thoughts.
  9. Dress Smartly.  Good looks and smart dresses lift spirits; be well-dressed and give your best at everthing you do.

Nice Lists. Got some edits though.
1. Excercise, but dont do it with a trainer or you will get more stress
4. Dont volunteer at a museum, or you will be in the same setting as the corporate cubicle.
8. Dont drive unless you are very, very very very calm. One idiot backed up to my mom, and next thing we got was @#%^ @!$%%^ #%^$%^& you @$%#^$%^&&^!!
9. This might work, but what if someone spills red wine on this dress?

My favourite is Mall Crawl. I may be a guy, but shopping is always a de-stresser!

the best thing for me to do when i stress is SLEEP... others vacation (money involve) fishing (weather not so good) massage/spa (expensive)

okay then get some hot water in a tub, dip your feet in the water and tell your wife to massage your head. its free :) and you will feel relaxed.
