It's truth, it's harsh, but its reality, none of us should complain or crib about what we dont have, rather enjoyin wht we have, we have got evrythin but we still complain of havin less now thts pitty on our part.

Just watched a movie called Beyond Borders...about the starving in Africa. Your post today was another chilling reminder about what life is like for so much of the world. You are right...the complaining gets old...if people only knew just how good they really have it compared to the rest of the world.

most people only look upwards and not downwords. we see what others in a higher class have? we dont see that there are millions who dont have even the very basic necessities.

Whisper - Whoa.

Today I met with ten nursing students who were passionate about the injustices they endure as residents in student apartments, where the slumlords exploit their status as students. Awful, indeed - and still they need to grasp the reality that even while exploited they enjoy the privilege of *being students* in these United States, and the likelihood that they'll move on to increased privilege, status and comfort.

I'd give anything for them to see the content of this post. Is there a website they can visit? (Or should I direct them to this post ...?
