Twitter is a social networking service that allows members to inform each other about what they are doing and what they think. It allows users to send messages via phone or instant messaging. Two SMS gateway numbers are available - one for USA, and one UK number for international use. Users can receive updates from other selected users via web, IM, or SMS. It made its debut at South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive in March 2005. Its an example of a Micro-Blogging platform. Twitter lends itself well to haiku; a haiku written in Twitter is a twaiku.

Downtown Austin, Texas, Venue for SXSW Festival 

South by Southwest (SXSW) is an interactive, film and music festival and conference that has taken place every spring in Austin, Texas since 1987. The music festival is one of the biggest in the United States, with over a thousand performers playing in dozens of venues around downtown Austin for a week in March.
The SXSW 2007 music festival will include performances by Exit Clov, Scott Lucas of Local H, Enter Shikari, The Stooges, The Sword, Interpol, Lily Allen, Bobby Lounge, Bloc Party, and Cold War Kids, and speakers including David Byrne (of the Talking Heads) and Pete Townshend (of The Who). The festival will take place March 14-18, 2007, and over 1400 acts are reported to play there. SXSW offers a free musical sampler each year; this year's offering includes over 725 MP3s available for download via a torrent. One of the top film premieres this year is the highly anticipated Elvis and Anabelle starring Blake Lively and Max Minghella.

Clay Aiken (born Clayton Holmes Grissom on November 30, 1978) is an American pop singer who rose to fame on the second season of the television program American Idol in 2003. RCA Records offered him a recording contract and his debut album Measure of a Man was released in October 2003. Based on album sales, he has become the most successful second-place finisher in that show's history.
Clay Aiken was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a young boy, Aiken sang in the Raleigh Boychoir and as a young adult with a local band, Just By Chance. He attended Raleigh's Leesville Road High School before enrolling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Although his American Idol activities temporarily delayed his academic pursuits, Aiken graduated with a bachelor's degree in special education in December of 2003. He found his interest in special education while directing YMCA children's camps as a teenager; at age 19 he served as a substitute teacher for a classroom of students with autism at Brentwood Elementary School. While attending college in Charlotte he took a part-time job as an assistant to a boy with autism, and it was this child's mother, Diane Bubel, who urged him to audition for American Idol.

While visiting India , George Bush is invited to tea with Abdul Kalam.
He asks Kalam what his leadership philosophy is.
He says that, it is to surround himself with intelligent people.
Bush asks how he knows if they're intelligent.
"I do so by asking them the right questions," says the Kalam.
"Allow me to demonstrate. "
Bush watches as Kalam phones Manmohan Singh and says, "Mr. Prime Minister, please answer this question: your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?"
Manmohan immediately responds, "It's me, Sir !"
"Correct. Thank you and good-bye, sir," says the Kalam. He hangs up and says, "Did you get that, Mr. Bush?"
Bush nods: "Yes Mr. President. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely be using that!" Bush, upon returning to Washington , decides he'd better put the Condoleeza Rice to the test.
Bush summons her to the White House and says, "Condoleeza, I wonder if you can answer a question for me."
"Why, of course, sir. What's on your mind?"
Bush poses the question: "Uhh, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"
Rice was puzzled and finally asks, "Can I think about it and get back to you?"
Bush agrees, and Rice leaves.
Rice immediately calls a meeting of senior senators, and they puzzle over the question for several hours, but nobody can come up with an answer. Finally, in desperation, Rice calls Colin Powell and explains the problem.
"Mr. Powell, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"
Powell answers immediately, "It's me, of course."
Much relieved, Rice rushes back to the White House, finds George Bush, and exclaims, "I know the answer, sir! I know who it is!
It's our Colin Powell!"
And Bush replies in disgust,
"Wrong, its Manmohan Singh!"
